Your task is to create a "Hands Free" PowerPoint using the text from Shakespeare's Poem "Spring". Here is the text to Shakespeare's Poem: Please copy and paste the poem into a Microsoft Word Document:
Spring by William Shakespeare
When daisies pied, and violets blue,
And lady-smocks all silver-white,
And cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight,
The cuckoo then, on every tree,
Mocks married men, for thus sings he:
'Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo!' O word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear.
When shepherds pipe on oaten straws,
And merry larks are ploughmen's clocks,
When turtles tread, and rooks, and daws,
And maidens bleach their summer smocks,
The cuckoo then, on every tree,
Mocks married men, for thus sings he:
'Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo!' O word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear.
Please follow the instructions as listed below:And lady-smocks all silver-white,
And cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight,
The cuckoo then, on every tree,
Mocks married men, for thus sings he:
'Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckoo!' O word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear.

Unpleasing to a married ear.
1) Create a 20 slide PowerPoint.
2) Each slide will need a background photo that is related to spring. (ie. Photos of Daisies, the Riverbank, Budding greens, etc.) Therefore, you must find Spring photos on Google, save them to "My Pictures" folder and insert them into the PowerPoint.
3) One Slide 1 Copy and paste the text of the TITLE and AUTHOR of the poem "Spring" onto the slide. Make sure the text can be seen.
4) On each of the following slides copy Line 1 of the poem on to the Slide 2, Line 2 of the poem on to Slide 3, etc.
5) On the very last slide please insert a text box and write the text "The End".
6) After you have inserted all of the text onto the slides in PowerPoint your next task is to choose SLIDE TRANSITIONS and make them AUTOMATIC (this means that you should not have "ON MOUSE CLICK" selected but rather click on "AFTER". Your task is to estimate (appropriately) how long it will take the viewer to read each line of text from Shakespeare's poem "Spring".
Ex. "Spring by William Shakespeare" (On Slide one) = 3 Seconds.
PowerPoint Practice 6 Checklist:
1. You have 20 slides
2. You have the title and author of the poem on slide 1
3. You have each line of the poem on a separate slide
4. You have "The End" at the end
5. You have a spring photo as your background for each slide.
6. You have an AUTOMATIC TRANSITION on each slide.
After this - save as "LAST NAME, FIRST LETTER OF FIRST NAME, POWERPOINT PRACTICE #6)
Please save and submit to the PowerPoint Practice #6 hand-in folder.
